He was dedicated to the ball and making his handlers happy. His level of energy was very intense as he never tired out and adapted to changes quickly. San Diego rescue

Phoenix... named for the mythical bird.  Known to most as Nikki.
Nikki loves to fly horizontally and vertically and came to us after our loss of our beloved Kelpie Molly and rekindled our broken hearts. Her rescue was a group effort with the help of the flyball community in San Diego. She was rescued from the pound and driven to Barstow where we picked her up and brought her to her forever home.

Nikki is also a fearless Disc Competitor with 1st place ribbons and trophy’s in UFO and USDDN. She competes at Pro level in Toss’n’Fetch and Open level in Freestyle. She has even earned a frisbee from one of the founders of Wham-O with a personal message “Keep on Flying”

  • U-fli Top Flight Premier Level II
  • Nafa Flyball Dog 06/04/2005
  • Nafa Flyball dog Excellent 06/04/2005

Randsom was such a sweet boy. He loved playing ball, and Flyball was his favorite game. He loved hiking, swimming, and being told how pretty he was. We miss him so much, but feel really blessed that we had so many years together.

Memories of Molly

Picture
A founding member of the Atomic Dog team Molly was a fearless flyball and disc dog that brought her family into the world of dog sports as a way to focus her boundless energy and intelligence.  In addition to the dog sports she was also a certified therapy dog spending countless hours retrieving balls thrown by recovering stroke patients at Sunrise Hospital Physical Therapy and catching bubbles blown by pediatric pulmonary patients.
